Edward Tanner started his Law Enforcement Career in 2007 with the Henry County Sheriff’s Office. Captain Tanner has served in many different roles within Jail Operations including Detention Officer, Deputy Sheriff, Sergeant in Jail Operations, Lieutenant in Support Services, Commander of the Jail Annex, and currently as Captain in Jail Operations. Captain Tanner is a native of Georgia and grew up in College Park, later moving to Henry County as a teenager. Captain Tanner is proud to serve the Citizens of Henry County.
