Sex Offender Registry
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Sex Offender Registry Unit registers all sex offenders that lives in Henry County who are required to be registered by Georgia State Law.
The Sex Offender Unit verifies residential, employment, and school information to prevent sex offenders from becoming noncompliant with registration requirements. The purpose of verification is two-fold: (1) to ensure sex offender information is current, permitting law enforcement to know sex offenders in their jurisdiction; and (2) ensure the information released to the public via the sex offender registry is correct.
The HCSO uses the Offender Watch system to locate and monitor sex offenders following their release into the community. This database is also provided to the Henry County citizens to locate sex offenders in their communities.
