Policy Development
Our Purpose
Policy Development is an integral part of Administration as it sets the standards and guidelines for the functions of the Henry County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO).
One of the primary duties include developing our agency Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and Post Orders, which are the procedures and processes by which our agency operates. Policy maintenance, including form creation and management, is as critical to policy development as creating the policy itself.
Another key function is creating and maintaining website content to ensure it provides accurate information to both the public and employees. HCSO’s website makes information readily accessible whenever and wherever you need it. The design and content of the website promotes transparency to our community, other law enforcement agencies, and members of the judicial system.
Other duties include compiling data for grants and funding reimbursements, helping reduce the financial burden on county taxpayers, and the flexibility to respond to other agency needs.
